Prayers Of Deliverance

There are various types of deliverance that people need, and, depending on the type of deliverance we must pray accordingly, the 4 main types and their corresponding prayers are:
1)deliverance from physical and mental sickness caused by birth defects, accidents or ailements by the Sacrament of Annointing of the Sick.
2)deliverance from emotional sickness caused by traumatic experiences by prayers for inner healing of memories.
3)deliverance from spiritual sickness caused by sin by the Sacrament of Confession or Reconcilliation.
4)deliverance from demonic possessions by the ecclesiastical prayer of Exorcism.

In A Nutshell

Understanding Christianity is very simple, our basic belief is in the "one" God of Abraham, Issac n Jacob in "three" persons the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and BTW the fact that we believe that Jesus is 100% God and also 100% Human is what has always been and is still so offensive to both Jews and Muslims alike.

This God created us with one of the greatest gifts our "free wills", He didnt just make us robots but gave us the freedom to love Him and adore Him...which of course our first ancesters misused by rejecting God thus leading to humanity being eternally seperated from God in what is called the doctrine of "Original Sin", but as the Bible book of John 3:16 attests "God loved the world this way: He gave his only Son so that everyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life."

Thus God fulfilled the prophicies to all the other prophets before as the Bible book of Hebrews 1:1-2 attests "In the past God spoke to our ancestors at many different times and in many different ways through the prophets. In these last days he has spoken to us through his Son. God made his Son responsible for everything. His Son is the one through whom God made the universe."

So we believe that Jesus came to take away the sins of the world by dying on the cross...because someone had to take the punishment for our sin.

But in order to testify to the teachings of Jesus we believe God the Father raised Jesus from the dead in the ressurection which is celebrated on Easter sunday...the greatest Christian feast in the year...even greater in meaning than Christmas.

We also believe that we are saved from our sins by Gods grace which comes to us by faith in Jesus through the ministry of His Church.

There are 3 main branches in Christianity though the basic beliefs are totally the same as enumerated above...Catholicism, Orthodoxy n Protestianism...catholicism n orthodoxy have essentially the same teachings n form one Church, but had been divided politically in the 10th century and are presently moving towards unity...while protestianism arose in the 15th century and there are as many churches as there are people with divergent interpritations and doctrines.

Finally, the goal of the christian life is to respond to this great love of God for us by loving, worshiping n adoring Him in return...and establishing a personal and intimate relationship with Him.
